ANU Research School of Economics and the ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods announces the establishment of the Australian Business Data Archive
Thursday 22 August 2019

The Data Age is transforming how businesses operate, how people live and how services are delivered. While many businesses are making great use of data than ever before, there is limited data on businesses available to researchers or policy makers. We are delighted to announce that the ANU Research School of Economics and the ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods will be establishing the Australian Business Data Archive (ABDA) within the Australian Data Archive. ABDA will provide access to data about and from Australian businesses to the research and policy community. The data will be available for legitimate research purposes at no cost to users.

The establishment of the Australian Business Data archive will extend the Australian Data Archive’s extensive holdings of over 6000 data sets from more than 1500 projects from 1838 until the present day. https://ada.edu.au/

For further information please contact Steven McEachern, Director of the Australian Data Archive - steven.mceachern@anu.edu.au.
